As Pakistani and Chinese companies signed 21 memorandums of understanding (MoUs) totaling $4.2 billion in various fields on Thursday, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif gave Chinese businessmen his word that any red tape delays in investment procedures will be eliminated.
In his keynote speech at the Second Pakistan-China B2B Investment Conference in Beijing, the prime minister announced the official start of “CPEC 2.0,” a daring new vision for Pakistan-China economic cooperation.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif welcomed the high-ranking attendees and said the meeting reflected the unwavering kinship between China and Pakistan.
