In a statement posted on social media site X on Tuesday, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) revealed that Usman Khan Shinwari, a left-arm fast bowler for Pakistan, had announced his retirement from international cricket.
From December 2013 to December 2019, the 31-year-old bowler played for Pakistan in 16 Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is), 17 One-Day Internationals (ODIs), and one Test.
Shinwari made his debut for his country in all three forms against Sri Lanka.
He won Player of the Match after taking five wickets in just his second ODI. In total, he took one wicket in Test cricket, thirty-four in ODIs, and thirteen in T20Is.
