The External Affairs Minister, other cabinet members, and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi made a number of remarks about Pakistan. The Pakistan Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) released a statement on these remarks, claiming that their purpose was to take advantage of hyper-nationalism for electoral purposes.
