On Friday, Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) reaffirmed its commitment to supporting Kashmiris’ right to peaceful protest while promoting their socioeconomic advancement.
The spokesperson said that Azad Jammu and Kashmir’s citizens actively participate in determining their democratic destiny and enjoy full civil and political rights, according to information that leaked on Friday.
According to FO Spokesperson Shafqat Ali Khan, Pakistan is dedicated to defending the rights and dignity of its brothers in Kashmir. This decision represents a long-standing moral imperative as well as a constitutional duty.
Human rights abuses in occupied Kashmir were described by the FO as proof of state terrorism in India. It further stated that the problem has gotten worse due to shifts in the demographic ratio and the restriction of civil liberties.
