Today’s fourth Twenty20 International (T20I) between Pakistan and New Zealand will take place at the Hagley Oval in Christchurch. The series consists of five matches.

Today’s contest will kick off at 11:10 a.m. The only alteration to the Green Shirts’ lineup going into the game is Sahibzada Farhan in place of Azam Khan. The Kiwis, on the other hand, are using the same starting eleven.

After winning the first three meetings to establish an unassailable advantage, New Zealand now targets a potential series rout. The hosts are motivated to continue their outstanding performance because of Finn Allen’s spectacular hitting prowess. Allen tops the run-scoring rankings in the series with, having scored a spectacular century to play a major part in the team’s previous win.

After losing their first three games in a row, Pakistan finds itself in a difficult situation. In the fourth Twenty20 International, the visitors will compete for pride, with former skipper Babar Azam showing signs of consistency.

Azam has compiled an outstanding 181 runs throughout the series despite the team’s troubles, hitting half-centuries in each of the three games.

In the third Twenty20 International, Allen’s outstanding 137-run innings proved to be crucial as New Zealand amassed a commanding 224/7 total. Babar Azam responded with 58 runs, but Pakistan lost by 45 runs as they could only muster 179/7 in 20 overs.

With two wickets, Tim Southee spearheaded the bowling assault, followed by Matt Henry, Lockie Ferguson, Mitchell Santner, and Ish Sodhi with one wicket apiece.

The Hagley Oval pitch is predicted to favor pacers early on as the sides prepare for the pivotal fourth Twenty20 International, giving them the opportunity to take advantage of the swing during the opening overs. However, batsmen are expected to have the upper hand against fast bowlers as the ball wears down. If spinners can precisely determine the ideal length, they will also have a chance to have an effect.

The weather forecast calls for cloudy conditions, but there is no chance of rain, so the game should go on uninterrupted and be quite interesting. It is predicted to be about 28 degrees Celsius, with a breeze of 29 km/h and 48 percent humidity.
