The federal government is preparing to announce updated petrol and diesel prices for the second half of March 2024, with expectations of a significant fall.

The current per-litre price of petrol is Rs279.62, while high-speed diesel is priced at Rs287.33. If the claimed reductions are implemented, Pakistanis can expect relief at the pumps, with petrol priced at Rs274.61 per litre and diesel priced at Rs283.12 per litre.
