Tuesday saw a further increase in the price of gold in Pakistan following a minor decline the day before.
Data from the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA) shows that the cost of a tola of 24-karat gold went up by Rs. 700, ending at Rs. 260,700.
The cost of ten grams of 24-karat gold increased by Rs. 600 as well, reaching Rs. 223,508.
The price of gold experienced a minor uptick on a global scale as well. The pricing per ounce increased by $10 to $2,512.
Nonetheless, the local market’s silver prices stayed steady at Rs2,950.
