Gold prices in Pakistan rose again on Friday following a sharp decline on Thursday.
The All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA) reports that the cost of 24-karat gold per tola rose by Rs1,000, to Rs251,500.
The cost of 10 grams of 24-karat gold increased by Rs 858 on the local market, coming in at Rs 215,621. Ten grams of 22-karat gold also saw a price increase, coming in at Rs 197,652.

Gold prices increased on the international market as well; the rate per ounce was $2,373, up $3 during the day.
In the meantime, the price per tola of 24-karat silver stayed constant at Rs2,860.
