Mohsin Naqvi, the chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), visited Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on Wednesday to check on the status of ongoing work in preparation for the 2025 Champions Trophy.
The general manager of infrastructure and the director of international cricket paid a visit to the PCB chairman.
To ensure that this massive project is finished ahead of schedule, the chairman asked the employees to labor for a whole day.
“This massive project can only be completed on time by working 24/7,” Naqvi stated.
Naqvi also addressed important issues during the inspection, concentrating in particular on the construction of drainage to stop water buildup from pipe bursts beneath the stadium’s main structure.
In addition, he oversaw the use of extra resources to hasten the stadium’s renovations.
The Champions Trophy is slated to take place in Pakistan at three separate locations in February and March of the following year.
The confirmed teams for the 2025 Champions Trophy are Afghanistan, England, Bangladesh, South Africa, India, Australia, and New Zealand, with Pakistan serving as the host nation.
