KARACHI: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is having trouble deciding on its 15-man squad for the next T20 World Cup 2024 as the date for the squad release draws closer, according to sources cited by Geo News.
The announcement of the squad will take place following the May 22 T20I series opener against England, since the International Cricket Council (ICC) has established a deadline of May 25 for the announcement of the 15-member World Cup squad.
Notably, Salman Ali Agha, Usman Khan, and Haris Rauf were all denied the opportunity to play in Ireland. During the Ireland series, Hasan Ali, who was brought in as Rauf’s backup, participated in just one game.
