KARACHI/LAHORE: In order to finalize a new plan that would tie future approvals to players’ performance, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has banned all no-objection certificates (NOCs) that were previously granted to national players for participation in foreign leagues.
All NOCs for participation in overseas leagues and tournaments have been placed on hold with immediate effect and until further orders, according to a notification sent by PCB Chief Operating Officer Sumair Ahmad Syed, according to sources. Only one day after Pakistan’s loss in the Asia Cup final, the decision was made.
