A flood warning has been issued for Ganda Singh Wala on the Sutlej River by the Punjab Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA).
A PDMA official stated that moderate flooding is anticipated over the next two days based on information that appeared on Wednesday. According to the Director General (DG) PDMA, the current situation indicated a low flood level at Ganda Singh Wala. Releases from Indian reservoirs determine the flow of water in the Sutlej and Ravi rivers.
