ISLAMABAD: Following reports that Bushra Bibi, the spouse of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan, was poisoned at Bani Gala sub-jail, personal physician Dr. Asim Yousuf stated that he conducted a medical examination but found no evidence of the former first lady receiving any poisonous substance.
Speaking to Geo News, Dr. Yousuf stated, “At this point, there is no evidence of Bushra Bibi being poisoned. We are not conducting any medical test to ascertain administration of any poisonous substance to Bushra Bibi as no such symptoms are detected.”
According to the doctor, Bushra Bibi’s condition worsened two months ago following a meal. But because of health problems, she began eating less, and he continued.The doctor went on to say that he had no idea about her real health problems from two months ago. According to Dr. Yousuf, medical testing should be done while taking her age into consideration and looking for any health issues, especially stomach-related ones.
