Sources disclosed during the Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) Strategic Connection Camp in Lahore stated that players have been advised to back their skipper wholeheartedly in all circumstances.
Both players and coaches attended the camp, which had as its objectives enhancing teamwork and communication as well as resolving player problems.
Sources claim that the PCB has told the players that their dedication to the team’s success shouldn’t be hampered by their fear of being benched or losing the captaincy.
To create a unified front, all players—especially those who can perform in all three game formats—have been asked to cooperate.
PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi emphasized the importance of unity, emphasizing that players can only succeed if they support their captain and one another, no matter what.
