By having the Punjab Land Record Authority (PLRA) digitize land records, the Punjab government expedited the land verification procedure.
The 110 million citizens of the province are to benefit from this program, which also aims to combat land mafia operations and facilitate property transfers and real estate transactions. The principal organization in charge of organizing and keeping land records is the Punjab Land Record Authority (PLRA).
With the new verification system from the PLRA, locals may confirm the authenticity of properties that are for sale or investment. Among the many services provided by the PLRA are the ability to look up and see land records as well as request copies of documents.
