On Thursday, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said he had “deep admiration” for US President Donald Trump and called him a “man of peace” who is genuinely working to put an end to wars all over the world.
According to a statement released by the Prime Minister’s Office, the prime minister said that the US leader’s audacious, brave, and decisive actions had helped facilitate the ceasefire between Pakistan and India, preventing what he called a potential “major catastrophe” in South Asia, during a friendly and cordial meeting with President Trump at the Oval Office.
The premier praised President Trump’s efforts to halt the fighting in Gaza immediately while speaking about the Middle East crisis.
