On Tuesday, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif reiterated Pakistan’s dedication to deepening its long-standing alliance with Saudi Arabia, stating that the two nations’ relationship was built on the foundations of Islam, history, fraternity, and trust and will only deepen.
On the occasion of Saudi Arabia’s National Day, which is celebrated every year on September 23, the prime minister spoke on television to the Saudi people, Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.
He declared that the Pakistani people would never forget the solidarity shown by the Saudi leadership and people during the May 2025 crisis with India.
