As part of an official trip to Saudi Arabia to review bilateral relations, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif landed in Riyadh on Wednesday.
When the premier’s plane reached Saudi airspace, Saudi F-15 fighters provided a warm welcome aerial escort.
The deputy governor of Riyadh welcomed PM Shehbaz when he arrived at King Khalid International Airport. Ahmad Farooq, the ambassador of Pakistan to Saudi Arabia, and Nawaf bin Saeed Al-Maliki, the ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Pakistan, were also at the airport.
The premier received a 21-gun salute, and the visiting dignitary was given a guard of honor by a well-groomed Saudi military group.
