KARACHI: According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department’s (PMD) forecast on Friday, there will be rainfall in the higher regions of the country between October 5 and October 8.
But Sindh will continue to be dry and hot, it said.
A westerly wave is predicted by PMD to move toward the country’s upper regions on October 5. As a result, areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, such as Chitral, Dir, Swat, Kohistan, Shangla, Battagram, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Haripur, Buner, Malakand, Bajaur, Mohmand, Khyber, Peshawar, Swabi, Charsadda, and Nowshera, are likely to experience rain, wind, and thunderstorms, with the possibility of isolated heavy precipitation or hailstorms.
In the meantime, rain, wind, and thunderstorms are expected in Mardan, Kurram, Orakzai, Kohat, Hangu, Bannu, Lakki Marwat, Waziristan, and Dera Ismail Khan.
