Given the current flood crisis around the nation, the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) has been rescheduled by the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC).
The test, which was originally planned for October 5, 2025, will now take place on Sunday, October 26, 2025, according to the PMDC.
The council stated that members from Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Gilgit Baltistan, and all four provinces were consulted before the decision was taken.
According to a statement from PMDC, the decision was made with the best interests of the students in mind, guaranteeing that everyone has equal access to education.
Federal Health Minister Mustafa Kamal gave the PMDC instructions to update the schedule, which led to the development.
