The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) won 36 reserved seats for women in the Punjab Assembly, the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) said on Friday.
According to the election watchdog’s statement, the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) allocated three reserved seats to women in the Punjab Assembly.
The PML-N allocated five minority seats in the Punjab provincial assembly.
Separately, the electoral watchdog issued a notification of reserved seats for women in the Sindh assembly.
The Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) won six seats designated for women in the Sindh Assembly.
