Leaders of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) criticized one another on Tuesday, seemingly causing rifts in their alliance.

Following the PPP’s boycott of the Senate and National Assembly sessions in protest at the Punjab chief minister’s words regarding the canals and her remarks regarding the PPP leaders’ responses to her government’s performance during the floods, the conflict over the pressing problems grew more heated.
