As Pakistan commemorated the 76th anniversary of the country’s founding on Wednesday, President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif emphasized the importance of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah’s “guiding principles” and “vision” for the country’s progress.
President Zardari stressed in his address to the people the importance of Jinnah’s “unity, faith, and discipline” and asked them to adopt them as a guide for the nation’s progress.
In the meantime, PM Shehbaz urged the country to reaffirm its commitment to constructing Jinnah’s vision of a Pakistan where all citizens enjoy equality, justice, and peace.
Top Sindh authorities, including Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah, Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon, and Interior Minister Ziaul, observed the anniversary of Jinnah’s death on Wednesday.
