The Vice Governor of Xinjiang and the Mayor of Urumqi welcomed President Asif Ali Zardari during his visit to the city’s Urban Operations and Management Centre on Thursday.
The Center, which provides over 200 services to citizens and digitally connects over 30 local agencies, was explained to the president and his entourage.
Officials described how the Center facilitates real-time cooperation on matters like emergency response, road safety, health, education, and utilities by acting as a one-window center for public services.
The integrated digital platform piqued President Zardari’s interest, and he valued the vision of those who designed and ran it.
