The decision to remove tax exemptions on poultry feed was approved by the Senate Standing Committee on Finance last month.
FBR representatives announced during the standing committee meeting that the 10% tax exemption on poultry feed is being eliminated.
According to the officials, 10% sales tax will be applied to animal feed, which includes fodder for cows and buffaloes, generating Rs 47 billion.
