Duke of Sussex Prince Harry, who was not accompanied by his wife Meghan Markle, cracked a joke about his father, King Charles, during the most recent award event.
When Archie and Lilibet’s devoted father accepted the Living Legends of Aviation award last week, he joked about his flying experience with King Charles.
Prince Harry joked as he ascended the platform that he was “terrified” after seeing his father, King Charles, board a helicopter.
According to The Daily Mail, host John Travolta questioned the Duke of Sussex about his first flight experience. The Prince remembered getting aboard a Wessex helicopter when he was seven or eight years old. “But then my father jumped in behind me and I was terrified.”
Prince Harry received the ‘Living Legend of Aviation’ award earlier. John Travolta, the ambassador for aviation, hosted the celebration in Beverly Hills where he accepted his medal.
Prince Harry made the following statement after receiving the award: “I am honored to be acknowledged among such a vibrant and motivating group of people.”
