Prince William, Prince of Wales, awarded Sir Gary Oldman the knighthood on September 30.
Later, a sneak peek at the ceremony was posted on the Prince and Princess of Wales’ official Instagram account.
In the video that Kensington Palace released, Gary was honored by William for his decades of iconic television and movie roles.
“Thank you, Sir Gary Oldman, for decades of unforgettable performances – whether as hero or villain, or something in between!” was the unique greeting given on William’s behalf.
The comment went on to say, “Not bad for a Slow Horse…” in reference to the Oscar winner’s Slow Horses television series.
