Princess Kate has been out of the public spotlight for around two months, prompting online speculation that the Princess of Wales’ abdominal surgery is more serious than previously disclosed.
Kate had surgery on January 17 and stayed in the hospital for 14 days afterwards. Kensington Palace has stated that the 42-year-old is healing well.
Her followers are concerned about her protracted disappearance from the public spotlight, with some believing she is in a “induced coma” and others debating the causes for her “missing.”
Concha Calleja, a Spanish television broadcaster and journalist, initially made the accusation about intubation, adding, “The decision was to place her in an induced coma. They needed to intubate her. “It was about saving her life.”
Her assertions were then refuted by people close to Buckingham Palace.
Speculation about Kate’s health grew after Prince William left his godfather King Constantine of Greece’s tomb in Windsor for a “personal matter.” According to royal analyst Katie Nicholl, it is “absolutely unusual” for the Prince of Wales to cancel at the last minute.
“They are seldom late, let alone pulling out of something. So to take anything out for a key family member, as I mentioned, William’s godfather, was really unusual,” she explained.
