RAWALPINDI: Lahore Qalandars halted their losing trend on Wednesday, defeating Islamabad United by 17 runs in the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL) season nine in Rawalpindi.
Lahore had the upper hand over United because to several dismissals while defending a 163-run mark. The early portions of the innings saw a swift series of wickets as Shadab Khan’s team found themselves in a difficult predicament.
The first blow came in the first over, when Shaheen Afridi dismissed Alex Hales (0). Agha Salman followed suit shortly after, adding only four runs off Zaman Khan’s bowling.

The batting line-up continued to struggle as Shadab (7) was cleanly bowled by a superb yorker. The problems persisted with the quick dismissals of Colin Munro (15), Imad Wasim (7), and Jordan Cox (7), leaving the team in a precarious position with multiple key players back in the pavilion.
