A psychologist has recently come forward to give the Waleses, who are moving to Forest Lodge, what she considers to be pearls of wisdom. A Grade II Georgian home with eight bedrooms in a gothic design, situated within Windsor Great Park, which spans 4,800 acres.
Laura Gwilt, a child and adolescent therapist at Swift Psychology, is the specialist in question.
According to her, “Involving children in the moving process improves adjustment and reduces stress,” when she spoke to Hello! for this interview. Children adapt more favorably when they sense some control, according to the evidence.
She therefore advised the Waleses to let their kids “assist in selecting décor for their new bedrooms, packing sentimental items for the move, or participating in the exploration of their new environment.”
