The leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Sanam Javed, was briefly freed from Sargodha Jail on Wednesday before being taken into custody once more by the Gujranwala police.
She is involved in the Gujranwala Cantt events case, which was filed on May 9. The police in Gujranwala were prepared to arrest her once more when she left Sargodha Jail, where she had been detained on additional accusations.
The PTI leader is charged with being involved in the incident on May 9 along with another party leader, Alia Hamza, who is also being sought by Gujranwala police.
PTI leader Aliya Hamza is also wanted in relation to the same case, according to the police. Today is anticipated to see her released from Sargodha Jail, and Gujranwala police are supposedly in attendance.
