Senator Shibli Faraz, a senior leader of Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI), attacked the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N)-led federal government on Friday, claiming that total triumph is now merely a “matter of moments.”
His remarks came the day after the Capital Development Authority (CDA) partially demolished the PTI Central Secretariat in the nation’s capital because of a “violation of building rules.”
Speaking at a joint press conference outside the office after the PTI Core Committee meeting, Faraz stated that his party could not compete politically with the ruling alliance.
Faraz notes that the necessity to “restore” the constitution is important because “future generations will not be proud of those who did this.”
