ISLAMABAD: The Commonwealth Observer Group has been urged to formally release its report on the February 8, 2024, elections, which the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Information Secretary branded a “mega polls robbery”), according to The News.
Systemic rigging, institutional bias, and intentional targeting of the PTI and its founder, Imran Khan, were exposed by the robbery. In a statement released on Sunday, he stated, “The PTI was deprived of its election symbol (bat) and Khan was given three convictions within days of the polls, effectively preventing him from running and depriving voters of a fair choice.”
