On the directives of KP Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, activist for the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Sanam Javaid has been relocated to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa House in Islamabad, the CM’s spokesperson confirmed on Tuesday.
The PTI activist and her family would stay at the KP House in the nation’s capital, according to Focal Person to CM Gandapur on Digital Media Yar Muhammad Khan Niazi. “KP CM was in touch with Javaid’s father and husband,” she said.
The spokesperson’s comments coincide with the day when the well-known PTI activist received respite from her lengthy legal battle on Monday when the Islamabad High Court (IHC) ordered her freedom and barred the police and other law enforcement agencies from detaining her.In numerous cases pertaining to the May 9 riots, which were started by the arrest of Imran Khan, the founder of the PTI and former prime minister, in a graft case that resulted in the vandalism of several military sites, Javaid has been arrested and rearrested.
Since Khan’s arrest in May of last year, she has been involved in a number of cases that have led to damage and disturbance, and she has been in jail for almost a year.
