Maryam Nawaz, the chief minister of Punjab, has issued directives for the prompt completion of all ongoing development projects throughout the state. She underlined that in these projects, openness and quality should receive extra consideration.
An in-depth examination of the Annual Development Program 2024–25 was carried out during a Provincial Planning and Development Board meeting presided over by CM Maryam Nawaz. Every project was discussed individually, and the CM was given thorough briefings on the unique plans of each department along with the appropriate instructions.
The Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) has been directed by Maryam Nawaz to create a dashboard for real-time tracking in order to guarantee the timely completion of all active projects.
It was brought up during the discussion that Punjabi motorway interchanges are now offering ambulance services. Furthermore, 106 development projects will be finished with assistance and involvement from international organizations.
Decisions made at the meeting stated that work on the 189 km Chichawatni to Layyah route and the 93 km Multan to Vehari road would start on August 13.
By August 13th, work must also start on the Sahiwal to Samundari Road and the Bahawalpur to Jhangara East Interchange routes. On July 31st, work on the road connecting Sargodha, Chiniot, and Faisalabad will begin.
