The Punjab Chief Minister, Maryam Nawaz, has ordered the province to release new rates for wheat and flour.
The Food Department has released the most recent prices, outlining how much a 10 kilogram bag of flour will cost in different Punjabi cities.
It will now cost Rs 900 in Lahore and Rawalpindi for a 10 kilogram bag of flour. In the meantime, the cost is scheduled to be Rs 890 in Attock and Jhelum and Rs 870 in Chakwal, Sheikhupura, and Kasur.
A 10 kg bag costs Rs 820 in Gujrat, Mandi Bahauddin, Wazirabad, Hafizabad, and Gujranwala. In the same way, it still costs Rs 820 in Sialkot, Narowal, Chiniot, and Nankana. The price is set at Rs 800 for an in Faisalabad, Toba Tek Singh, Sargodha, Multan, and Lodhran.A ten-kilogram bag of flour costs Rs 800 in Sahiwal, Pakpattan, and Bahawalpur, which are located further south. In Rahim Yar Khan and Bahawalnagar, the rate falls to Rs 790. The cost is Rs 780 in Layyah, DG Khan, Khanewal, Vehari, and Bhakkar; it is also Rs 780 in Mianwali, Khushab, and Jhang.
