DUBAI: World-famous singer Ustad Rahat Fateh Ali Khan just contributed his voice to a Bengali song for the first time, and fans are raving about it. This is a melodic boost to Pakistan and Bangladesh’s cultural links.
Rahat and renowned Bengali vocalist Rubayyat Jahan collaborated on the heartfelt duet Tumi Amar Prem Piyasha. Rahat was inspired to take on the task of singing in Bengali by music director Raja Kaasheff, who also created the song and orchestration.
Rahat’s expressive performance and impeccable pronunciation have enthralled listeners.
