An internal investigation has been launched against the Red Bull team boss following grievances raised by a female coworker.
At the introduction of Red Bull’s latest vehicle, Horner, 50, said to Sport, “First of all, I obviously deny the allegations that have been made.”
“But I’m going through a process and fully respect it.”
He continued, “Of course it is a distraction for the team, but the team is very together.”
He declared that every owner of Red Bull supported him wholeheartedly. The Yoovidhya family of Thailand owns 51% of the business, while the Mateschitz family of Austria owns 49%.
“We are one team,” Horner went on. We are a one unit. The team has received tremendous support from the stockholders.”
When asked if he was the best candidate to be the team’s leader, he replied, “Yes, without a doubt. I have no doubts about it because I’ve been doing it for 20 years.”
