LAHORE: The ninth and matriculation classes will each see a subject reduction, according to the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore.
According to a board spokesman, only ninth-standard pupils will sit for Islamic Studies exams in 2024–2026; matric students will take the Pakistan Studies exam.
The representative went on to say that the grades for Pakistan Studies and Islamic Studies had both been raised from 50 to 100.
According to the official, the Punjab Textbook Board has been requested to print books that reflect the recent advancement in marks.
Furthermore, the Punjab Matric Examinations for 2024 will start on March 1st, according to a statement made by the BISE Lahore.
