Shore reported earlier this year that he was in talks to play the lead part in a film about the training video icon’s life, but Simmons swiftly stated that he was not interested.

This Monday, Shore told Entertainment Tonight that he intends to proceed with the film despite Simmons’ objections and death.
“I know he wanted me to do it,” Shore stated during an interview from his car. “I’m not even sure if that was him tweeting the entire time. I’m not sure who that was.”
