Ricky Gervais has already starred in a number of Netflix series, including Extras, After Life, and The Office.
He has now made a comeback with Alley Cats, a new show. As the first look graphic indicates, it is an animated series that follows a number of stray cats.
“A slacker sitcom following the trials and tribulations of a group of feral British cats from all walks of society, who seek companionship while ruminating on everyday life,” is the summary of the six-part series, in which the British celebrity both creates and voices one of the cats.
“I play a fat, lazy, rude, opinionated creature with fangs, who’s not as smart or brave as he thinks he is,” Ricky says of his role. That’s quite a stretch.
