Robyn resigned “by mutual agreement to pursue opportunities outside of the FIA,” according to a statement from the FIA.
As of the end of May, Robyn will be the fourth senior official to depart from the FIA since December of last year.
Her departure comes after the resignations of Deborah Mayer, the chair of the women’s commission, Tim Goss, the single-seater technical director, and Steve Nielsen, the sporting director.
Furthermore, it follows a string of disputes involving Mohammed Ben Sulayem, the president of the FIA.
Ben Sulayem was exonerated in March by the FIA ethics committee of charges made by a whistleblower that He claimed there was “no evidence” to back up the allegations that he had tampered with races in Saudi Arabia and Las Vegas the previous season.
In addition, Susie Wolff, the wife of Mercedes team principal Toto Wolff and head of the F1 Academy for prospective female drivers, is suing Ben Sulayem and the FIA.
