Roedad Khan, a former top administrator who held important positions in both the federal and local governments, passed away on Sunday in Islamabad.
The former interior secretary was from the Mardan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, a small village. Following his funeral services following the Zuhr prayer, he will be laid to rest in the federal capital’s H-11 graveyard.
Khan held positions as managing director of Pakistan Television Corporation (PTV), secretary of the Ministry of Tourism, secretary of Labor, chief secretary of Sindh, and secretary of KP throughout his career.
In addition, he held positions as federal minister for accountability, secretary general of the interior ministry, adviser to the president, and prime minister.
