ISLAMABAD: The Romanian government launched a scholarship program at the University of Politehnica for Master’s and PhD studies in the fields of engineering and information technology for the academic year 2024–25. The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has invited applications from Pakistani and Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) nationals.
A number of Master’s programs, including Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Telecommunication and Information Technology, Aerospace Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Computer & Information Technology, System Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Applied Engineering Science, Engineering and Management, are offered by the University of Politehnica Bucharest, Romania, according to official sources.
Applicants who do not have a completed degree on the application deadline are ineligible, following eligibility requirements.
Candidates for the master’s program must be under 35 years old and have completed a 16-year bachelor’s degree.
In a similar vein, candidates for PhD/Doctoral programs must be under 40 years old at the time of application and hold a Masters degree, MS/MPhil (17/18 years).
All applicants must, however, submit a legitimate HAT test result. HEC maintains the ability to alter or amend the requirements for nominations.
