Tennis star Sania Mirza has revealed the emotional turmoil she faced during her divorce from Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik, describing it as the most challenging period of her life.

Speaking on a live show, Mirza recounted how she experienced a severe panic attack, saying, “I was shivering,” and even lost consciousness at one point. She credited the director and choreographer on set for helping her through the distressing moment.

While hosting the show, Farah Khan praised Mirza for navigating both her highs and lows with grace. Mirza expressed heartfelt gratitude, stating that without Khan’s support, she might not have gone on with the show. “If Farah had not come and said, ‘No matter what, you are going, and doing this show,’ I would have left,” she said.

Mirza and Malik ended their 12-year marriage, and Malik is now married to actor Sana Javed. Recently, Mirza shared a motivational post on Instagram reflecting on life, marriage, and divorce:

“Marriage is hard. Divorce is hard. Choose your hard. Life will never be easy. But we can choose our hard. Pick wisely.”
