Sarah Hyland was showered with love on her 35th birthday as friends, family, and her Modern Family costars celebrated the special day with touching messages.
On Monday, November 24, the actress received warm wishes from her former on-screen mom Julie Bowen and uncle Jesse Tyler Ferguson — both of whom shared adorable throwback moments with Hyland.
Bowen, 55, posted a sweet photo of the two together, paired with 50 Cent’s classic birthday anthem In Da Club. She wrote, “Happy Birthday to my sweetest girl. You continue to amaze me, and I’m so proud of everything you’ve accomplished. I love you!”
Ferguson followed with a nostalgic video montage featuring years of memories with Hyland, set to an Ariana Grande song from Wicked: For Good. The clip also included appearances by Eric Stonestreet — his on-screen husband — and Ty Burrell, who played Hyland’s TV dad.
Hyland jokingly praised Ferguson in the comments, writing, “I’m honestly SO proud of you for making this!!!”
But the most touching tribute came from Hyland’s husband, Wells Adams.
Adams shared a heartfelt message celebrating his wife, writing, “Happy birthday to the most beautiful, talented, smart, hilarious, sexy, sassy, incredible human to ever exist. I love you more than words can say and thank my lucky stars every single day for you.”
He posted a photo of the couple getting ready for a romantic night out, explaining, “I took this before our anniversary dinner. It shows how effortlessly perfect you are. It’s how I always see you — I can’t take my eyes off you.”
He ended his tribute with, “Happy birthday, baby. I love you more, plus one, anything you say.”
Hyland replied lovingly, “I love you +1 anything you say.”
