Today (Monday) marks the arrival in Pakistan of a high-level Saudi team headed by Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah on a two-day official visit.
The move was prompted by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud’s recent assurance that Riyadh would never abandon Islamabad during a meeting with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia reaffirmed during the premier’s visit that they will expedite the first part of their $5 billion investment in Pakistan.
The Saudi delegation was scheduled to arrive in Pakistan on April 15–16. The purpose of the visit is to provide a boost to improved bilateral cooperation and mutually beneficial economic collaboration.
Abdul Rahman Abdul, the Saudi Minister of Water and Agriculture, is among the delegation members.
