According to new data, Police Scotland has reported the first instance of 3D-printed firearms. The force worked with important partners to prevent the risk posed by the production, distribution, and ownership of handcrafted firearms, and two incidences were reported last year.According to data published by Justice and Social Affairs magazine in 1919, there were two incidents reported in the division: one in April in Argyll and West Dunbartonshire and another in Tayside a month later. The productions were transferred to police labs for forensic examination in both instances. The occurrences were noted by forensic services in an October report to the Scottish Police Authority, which stated that the “complex and novel cases” needed “additional capacity to complete.”.
