RAWALPINDI: In anticipation of Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan’s (TLP) October 10 march towards Islamabad, the Rawalpindi police have increased citywide security to handle any unpleasant situation.
Syed Khalid Hamdani, the City Police Officer (CPO) of Rawalpindi, presided over a high-level conference with senior police personnel to assess the state of law and order.
The policeman issued a warning, saying that no traffic jams, road blockades, or violent protest-related actions would be accepted.
The CPO stated unequivocally that any actions that interfere with the regular course of public life, cause property damage, or target law enforcement will be sternly prosecuted.
