According to police authorities, a convoy was ambushed near Kunchati Cross in Turbat, injuring around ten security officers.
During their journey along the M-8 National Highway from Godar to Turbat, the vehicles were attacked. According to reports, eight to ten Coaster and squad vehicles made up the convoy.
According to preliminary investigations, the convoy was attacked by a car carrying explosives. Investigations on the blast’s nature are still ongoing.
After the event, a sizable number of security personnel arrived at the scene to secure the area and evaluate the situation.
